Dr. Adam De Fazio is a urologist and founding physician of HCA Florida Miami-Dade Urology. He specializes in both surgical and non-surgical treatments for a wide variety of urologic conditions. Areas of particular clinical interest include genitourinary cancers (kidney, bladder, prostate, testicular), kidney stones, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and sexual health. Dr. De Fazio is trained to perform minimally invasive and robotic procedures. Dr. De Fazio completed his undergraduate degree at Columbia University. He went on to receive his law degree from Georgetown University and worked as an attorney in New York before pursuing a career in medicine. Dr. De Fazio obtained his medical degree from Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed both his general surgery internship and urology residency at the University of Minnesota. Dr. De Fazio has published in the areas of stone disease and men's sexual health. Dr. De Fazio is married with 3 young children. His wife is a general dentist. Dr. De Fazio speaks English, Italian and Spanish. Dr. De Fazio looks forward to building relationships with patients and physicians in south Miami, Coconut Grove and surrounding communities.
