Dr. Robert Karp is a Board Certified Urologist on staff at HCA Florida South Shore Hospital. Dr. Karp attended medical school at the University of Chicago and completed his surgery internship at Harbor UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California. Dr. Karp completed his urology residency at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, Alabama. Dr. Robert Karp also served as a Major the U.S. Army and was a Battalion Surgeon in the 3rd/84th Field Artillery and Commanding Officer of the 9th Medical Detachment. Dr. Karp has served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida. He was also named a Diplomat of the American Board of Urology and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Karp has served as the Chief of Surgery, Chief of Medical Staff and as the President of the Board of Trustees at HCA Florida South Shore Hospital.
